About News Feed

As a value added feature, Danalix offers easy access to a variety of aggregated news feeds from syndicated web content such as podcasts, online newspapers, video blogs, blogs, and more.

The news feed feature covers a variety of topics and/or subjects on a daily and/or weekly basis.

You can easily discover news feeds by category and/or by using the keyword search function.

Who Has Access to News Feed

Anyone who uses Danalix has access. However, this feature has to be activated by the Administrator for users to have access to it.

How to Access/Turn on News Feed

As an administrator, to give users access to news feed, go to:

Step 1:

Administration sidebar menu > App Users & Staff > Staff >

Step 2a:

If the staff already exists

locate the individual staff on the “Staff List” screen > Actions menu > Update > on the “Update Staff Information” screen, check the ‘Show News Feed” checkbox.

Step 2b:

If you are creating a new staff profile

click “Create Staff” button on the “Staff List” screen > on the “Add Staff” screen, check the ‘Show News Feed” checkbox.
