About Service Tax

Danalix helps you automatically apply Service Tax(es) levied by the government for services your practice (firm) provides. The Service Tax feature allows you to setup one or more service taxes applicable to your business.

The service tax feature is available on all Danalix subscription plans.

Who Can Use This Feature

Any user with access and entitlement rights can use the service tax feature.

How to Setup Service Tax

To setup service tax, go to:

Administration sidebar navigation > Settings tab > Service Tax Details sub-tab > Create Service Tax Details button > from the Add Tax Details screen, add the tax information and click save.





Helpful Tips: It is recommended that you create service tax(es) beforehand because other features such as “Generate Invoice” and “Activity” use the service tax information you create here.

How to Update or Delete Service Tax

To update or delete service tax, go to:

Administration sidebar navigation > Settings tab > Service Tax Details sub-tab > find the Tax Type to update or delete > Actions Menu > Update or Delete.



Helpful Tips:
When you Update or Delete a service tax, this might affect other Danalix features currently in the process of using the tax information for calculation, for example:
• Generate Invoice
• Activity
